Hilariously, Tony does make something similar in 616 when Thor is in possession of the Odinforce, its called "Model 22," it was powered by an Asgardian crystal that Thor gave to Tony in order to potentially be a truly clean energy source. The one from Marvel 8096 was forged by Eitri the Dwarf in Nidavellir, it was made to look like the Destroyer armor, and it was crafted from the same metal as Mjolnir. There are two notable versions of this suit, one in Earth 8096, and one in Earth 616. Thorbuster should be a good deal stronger, but Thorbuster is not a suit that Tony made on his own, he had a lot of help from a fairly large number of people.
